Lemongrove Allotment
Since our arrival here on Bromley Common, we have been fortunate to recieve the support of many local people, in particular Teddy Adams site manager for the Hook Farm allotments. It is through Teddy's support and encouragment that we now have our own spot on the allotment. This will give our children the great experience of planting and eating food they have grown and cared for themselves. Teddy has put in a lot of work to ensure our spot is child friendly, we have a raised planting bed, which includes a high-rise carrot box, and a work platform. later in the year we hope the children will be able to take home tomatoes, potatoes, onions, carrots and more, all grown by themselves. We would like to thank Teddy and everyone on the allotment for the generosity and kindness they have shown to our Nursery.
