Lemongrove Nursery is a friendly, vibrant community which cares for, and educates children from six months to five years. Our children enjoy unrivalled facilities and fantastic opportunities including Sport Sessions, Spanish lessons, Yoga and Music in addition to our engaging Early Years curriculum.

We believe that education starts from birth and that the first five years of a child’s development are crucial in laying the foundations for lifelong learning. Therefore, we ensure all our children are nurtured, supported and encouraged to reach their full-potential and take their first steps on their learning journey. Our aim is to foster a real love of learning and thirst for knowledge that will see them through their whole school career and beyond.

Our experienced staff work tirelessly and imaginatively to give every one of our children the very best time in nursery. The staff are carefully chosen for the skills and expertise which they bring to our setting, reflecting from their own experiences and backgrounds.

No two days are ever the same at Lemongrove Nursery. We take pride in embracing diversity in all its forms. We celebrate diversity and inclusion amongst our children’s characters and personalities who respond to different stimulus and activities. Our rooms, and level of care are set up to respond to these very individual needs of children in our care. We believe in the importance of learning through play, inside and outside, and enjoy fabulous fresh air facilities on the doorstep of our nursery.

Lemongrove Nursery is built on the foundations of partnership and participation with our parents. We work closely with parents and carers and regularly share information and discuss each child’s progress, through our parents’ evenings and Parent Zone app. Every child is allocated a Key Person which helps the children to transition into Nursery life. They collate meaningful observations, supported by next steps and conduct termly summary reports including the child’s voice. Lemongrove Nursery reassures parents and carers that they can always check in about their child’s day, either via telephone communications or email. Parents, family and friends are also warmly invited to all our events from Picnic in the Park, Christmas performances, Sports Day and Graduation.

We trust that as you explore these pages you will begin to discover what makes Lemongrove Nursery so special. Please do come and visit the Nursery and meet our children and staff. You will be assured of a warm welcome.

After looking at several nurseries in the local area, Lemongrove stood head and shoulders above the rest
