Senior Practitioner for Honey Bees
Hello, My name is Charlotte Taylor and I am the Honey Bees’ Senior Practitioner. When I was younger, I was very indecisive about what my future career choices would be and what I wanted to do. After growing up with younger siblings I decided to pursue a career in childcare. I started my childcare adventure eight years ago at a big chain nursery in Maidstone. I studied NVQ Level 2 in Children and Young People’s Workforce and continued to study NVQ Level 3. I have worked in several nurseries as an apprentice and a qualified practitioner. Furthermore, I broadened my experience in a primary school as a teaching assistant. Whilst in this role I worked closely with three children with SEN. I enjoyed supporting the children, however, I missed being in a nursery environment and went back to work in the nursery sector. I moved to London and wanted to start a new adventure at a wonderful nursery and here I am at Lemongrove! I joined the Lemongrove family on 31st July 2017. I have been at Lemongrove for just over two years and I absolutely love it here. I started off in the Preschool room, Busy Bees’, as an Early Years Practitioner. I enjoyed my time in Pre-School and enjoyed watching and supporting the older children to develop and flourish before they went on their next adventure to ‘big school’. In April 2018 I was given the opportunity to become the Senior Practitioner of Busy Bees and thoroughly enjoyed it. Success in this post opened another position which entailed exploring different age groups. Now, here I am writing to you, as Senior Practitioner from our Toddler Room, Honey Bees'. I have an amazing team behind me, and I am tremendously grateful to be given this opportunity. I look forward to seeing what the future holds here at Lemongrove Nursery.
